Aaron Shelton, and his mom, Kathy, recently attended the awards banquet for the 2006-2007 Rock Maple Racing Snowcross season in Rome, NY. Aaron has been racing this circuit for 4 years, the last 2 as a Semi-Pro racer. The season starts mid-December and runs through March. Aaron was named the 2007 Semi-Pro West Division Champion. This is awarded to the rider with the most acquired points for the season. He also placed individually as follows: 1st in the Semi-Pro Stock 600; 7th in the Semi-Pro Open and 7th in the Semi-Pro Stock 440.
Kathy placed 4th in the Women's Novice Class and was also awarded the Women's Sportsmanship Award for the season.

Aarons sled was damaged in the Flood of June 27, 2006 (under 4 feet of water & mud), but he has been working hard to get it ready for the 06-07 season. With the help from his sponsors he will be back, and healthy for this winter.
